Microsoft SharePoint platform was first released in 2001 but has been creating a buzz in the IT industry since its existence. SharePoint 2007 was released in late2006. It is currently in its fourth version called SharePoint 2010 also called as MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server).
So what can SharePoint do?
I have been asked this question quite a few times by my prospective clients. My answer was always depended on how much customization they would prefer and how far they wanted to go with it.
I have listed below the number of ways how SharePoint can be used so you can think in a structured way how to leverage this platform.
